Corduroy + Camel

Happy Friday! Thank goodness it is the weekend because I am ready for a break! Ready to relax and enjoy some time off (who are we kidding though – I always have a to-do list on the go!). It snowed like crazy overnight, and so the snow is currently up to my mid-calves. Thank goodness I was able to wear this outfit out with these mules earlier in the week because I am obsessed!

I have never been one to own a lot of corduroy in my closet. I can quite pinpoint as to why this might be – I have nothing against it, in fact, I love the texture and diversity it adds to outfits. So when I tried on this Corduroy blazer from James Jeans for the first time and fell in love, I was upset at myself for not having more Corduroy in my closet! I immediately┬ábegan thinking about all the things I could wear in Corduroy – pants, skirts, jackets, you name it! I. am. obsessed.

Not only is this blazer amazing because of its gorgeous corduroy texture. But I am loving its camel color as well! Camel is the perfect color to have in your wardrobe in the fall and winter months, and it never goes out of style – so you know a piece like this one will be here for the long run!

I paired this Camel Corduroy blazer with a cozy-AF, gorgeous beige oversized sweater from Dex Clothing! With a cute little tie, and longer length – it is perfect with denim, leggings, and if you are feeling a bit sexy – even stockings! With denim, it is one easy way to wear it, but stay tuned for more! And seriously if you haven’t checked out Dex… you need to!

Now, I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of loose-fitting mom/boyfriend jeans… and guess what you guys – I found them! This pair of jeans from James Jeans is straight out of a dream. They are practically as soft as cashmere, they have a gorgeous color and wash to them, and they are tight in all the right places, as well as being loose in all the right place (which is what I was looking for!). I am impressed with the high quality and craftsmanship that went into these jeans – and I legit have been wearing them ON. REPEAT!

Now, what better way to bring an outfit altogether than to match a Camel blazer with Camel Shoes! These mules from Vionic are as comfy as can be (you feel like you are walking on clouds). And, they are uber-stylish! I wish it snowed less in Alberta so that I could wear these every day of winter! Maybe I should move someplace warmer?!
