Balenbouche Estate

Happy Friday! Thank goodness the week is finally coming to an end – I am so ready for the weekend – are you? I am also so excited to share with you this post straight from St. Lucia!

At the end of our trip to St. Lucia, we stayed at a 150-year-old plantation turned Airbnb/bed and breakfast! Balenbouche estate! It was the most gorgeous, peaceful little slice of heaven! They had private beaches, beautiful rustic cottages, scrumptious little breakfasts, an old barn, a sugar mill, and 5 beautiful dogs that were our tour guides and protectors at all times! There were also some cows but those scared me, so we will skip on past that quickly haha!

We spent our mornings on the beach, our afternoons on our patio reading endlessly (I got through 4 books! It was marvelous) and our evening exploring the grounds when the temperature finally got a bit cooler!

I loved wearing this STUNNING Mata Traders Dress   whenever I had the chance to on this vacation! It was just oh-so-perfect! And slimming, which after the amount of food I had been eating – it was very necessary!

The pattern on this dress, I found very fitting for the tropics – so fun, so floral! I was obsessed!

We absolutely LOVED sitting on the wrap around porch in the mornings and evenings, listening to the cicada and sitting with the pups! Such a fun and memorable time, and made all the more stylish with Mata Traders.

Can’t wait for another excuse to wear this pretty number!
