Hi, friends! How are you today? I am feeling motivated and excited to get organized and potentially get ahead of schedule this week (which NEVER happens)! ha! Of course, to do this – to be able to work hard and stay focused not only in work but in physical activity, school, and social life – you need a diet that is sufficient in protein (and all other macronutrients). The best place to sneak in some protein and get you going? BREAKFAST?! And the best way to do that (without having to eat a steak or drink a protein shake)? OATS OVERNIGHT!
Oats Overnights is a marvelous little concoction that makes life super easy and breakfast super filling so that you can go, go, go all morning long! The mixture is filled with oatmeal, chia seeds, flax seeds, maca root and protein powder – so you are getting a meal that is JAM packed with healthy fats, protein, and other micronutrients.
The best part is – it is so simple to put together. You just grab your Blender Bottle – pour in the oats, add 1 cup of milk, shake up a bit and place in your fridge. Then, when morning rolls around, you just re-shake and you are good to go! Leaving the oat mixture overnight allows the chia, oats, and flax to fully hydrate – and guess what! You don’t need to hands to have this breakfast, you can just sip away at it!
Oats Overnight come in three flavors! Green Apple Cinnamon, Strawberries & Cream, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. You only see two pictured here, because sadly, when I opened my box with my cutting knife, it sliced the Apple flavor one right open 🙁 So open with caution! However, the other two flavors are AMAZING! Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana definitely takes the prize!
