Hi, friends! It’s definitely that time of the week where you’re sipping your coffee and you realize just how much you deserve a treat… don’t you agree? I’m so sad that I have none of these bad boys left because they were YUMMY and guess what? so crazy easy to make that I am almost EMBARASSED!
These bad boys are BANANA BROWNIES they contain well, obviously, bananas, and barely any added sugar – so that is a definite score!
I found the recipe for them here and just made a few slight tweaks! For starters, I only had 1 banana so I halved the recipe (I’m sure with 2 bananas it would have been even for flavourful!) and I used unsweetened chocolate chips! Still so yummy, I’m drooling just thinking about them! You must head over to Amy’s Healthy Baking to see all the fantastic recipes she has!
I’m a big fan of this recipe because I love anything that substitutes in banana! And the ingredient list here is pretty clean, You could even swap out the stevia used for a tablespoon of maple syrup and call it a day! A nice alternative to regular white sugar!
