Happy first day of the new year! Wow! Can you believe that it is actually 2017?! This year I have some of the biggest goals that I have ever set! I am so excited to share them with you throughout the year – but for now, I’ll keep them to myself. However, one of my goals that I set this year (which I set every year) is to become the fittest version of myself. The reason for this is because being physically active is a huge part of promoting a positive self-image and mentality for me – as I am sure this is the same for many of you. This year I feel like I really achieved this – I had some ups and downs but in October I discovered a new barre studio and that literally changed everything! I have been working out at least 5 times a week and not because I want to lose weight but because I love the feeling I get after each class!
So this year, as part of my resolution to be the most fit version of myself, barre is going to huge part of that. So… what am I going to be wearing to barre? Let me give you some insight! Why? Because I think everyone can agree that feeling confident in your workout attire is a huge part of the motivation it takes to make it to the workout class/gym/studio/barre!
My go-to tops to wear to barre include this “Barre Strong” tank from EDJE Apparel! I think the caption is quite fitting because once you hit the barre, you hit a whole new level of strong!
EDJE Apparel has some amazing tanks available with inspiring words and fun sayings! Wearing their tanks gets me excited to go work out because I am just looking for any excuse to throw one on! As well, they make a super cute graphic tank for my on-the-go look or for a studio-to-street look! Don’t you agree?
And the number one thing you always need to have on hand for a barre class is a pair of BARRE SOCKS 🙂 and these thigh-high ones from Tavi Noir are not only one-of-a-kind but also AMAZING! The blush color had me at hello and the length on them is very slimming… 😉 I’m wearing the Charlie OTK Grip socks and I am obsessed! I had never seen knee-high socks before Tavi Noir, so if you are looking to get hooked, well.. your welcome!
