Happy Friday, friends! Thank god the week is finally over – it has been such a long one! I am thankful that the weather stayed above zero this week! After the scare we had at the beginning of the month… AKA the blizzards that have left us with snow STILL on the ground, I was ready for full-on hibernation mode.
I knew that it was time to start preparing for winter, even though it was devastatingly early. So that meant pulling out the winter coats, the cozy boots, the wooly socks and the thick sweaters. Now… while I might hate the weather that is associated with winter – I am kind of jacket and coat obsessed.
So, I pulled out the parkas just to have them on-hand in case of chilly morning or snow days, because as we all know, they can come unpredictably.
I am kind of obsessed with these winter jackets from Noize. I am wearing the new SAGE jacket – with beautiful quilting, and two-tone color, you can’t go wrong. The neutral shade I went with will pair so perfectly with all winter outfits! The zipper also goes high, keeping the cold air out.
My lovely boyfriend is wearing the DOUG jacket. He is kind of head over heels about this coat. He has always had winter jackets that failed him – they didn’t keep the cold out, didn’t have long enough waist, just too many problems to list. So when he tried this puppy on and saw that it checked off all the boxes he was looking for, he was amazed! With a long hem to keep the cold out, a high zipper, large hood, tons of pockets (seriously – tons!) and thumb holes, it was everything he could want and more!
Now we can’t wait for the snow to come! These jackets will be perfect to wear to and from work, or even out to go snowshoeing (something we want to try this year!).
Stay tuned for more winter style posts coming your way over the next few weeks!
With Love, Meg
