What do you do when you have super bitter berries and nothing to do? You make scones! That’s what you do! I had some extremely bitter blackberries in the fridge and no one seemed to be eating them and I didn’t want them to go to waste, so I whipped up some scones! I used this recipe for “Mini Blackberry Cream Scones” by eat, live, run. and mmmm were they ever good. They disappeared as quickly as I was able to bake them!
This is a great way to use up any frozen berries you have hanging out in your freezer from all the berry picking you did in the summer :)! Let me know what you think about them if you try!
These Blackberry scones are seriously AMAZING! And this post gets me excited for Christmas Holidays… Because Christmas Holidays = baking galore! I have been endlessly browsing through Pinterest trying to pick a few recipes to try out but there are SO MANY! It is overwhelming!
