Just recently, I headed out to a local garden to pick some berries! Specifically, raspberries. Hence the title of this post ‘Berry Pickin”.
The garden we went to was amazing. It has sunflowers everywhere that are spread out naturally by the birds dropping seeds! As well, they only use natural watering for their garden, so everything is grown due to the rain!
We picked some berries (And ate quite a few)! It was so peaceful. We were the only ones out there, so we enjoyed the quiet, the sun, and the berries!
They also have Saskatoon berries, crab-apples, and a vegetable garden!
Such a cute little set up – and they have these cute old buildings that are overrun by nature! I was in love!
I love berry pickin! And I was so sad to find out their strawberries were finished for the season, because those are my favorite! I love picking them and freezing them! I use them for smoothies in the fall! Raspberries will be a perfect substitute!
We picked enough to make raspberry pie AND jam! Went a little crazy 🙂
Who else loves picking berries?!
The garden we visited is called Sunflower Gardens.
With Love, Meg
